Isotopes of these elements, produced in heavy ion reactions with actinide targets and collected by recoil in copper catcher foils, can be separated from each other and from contaminating activities. The element fractions were sufficiently clean for determinations by gamma-ray and/or alpha spectroscopy.en500 - Science::570 - Life sciences; biology500 - Science::540 - ChemistryFast Radiochemical Separation of Am, Pu, Np, U, Pa, Th, Ac and Ra in Heavy Ion Reactions with Actinide Targetsarticle10.7892/boris.11597810.1524/ract.1988.43.3.149
