Evidence from two large experimental studies" by Axel Franzen and Fabienne Wöhner. The main goal of this research project was to investigate how a presenter's gender and attractiveness influence evaluations of their performance. For this purpose, we conducted an online experiment in which participants watched two-minute videos of different individuals giving presentations on various topics. Each respondent was randomly assigned one video. After watching the video, we asked the respondents to rate the speaker and the presentation.
