Flexibility properties and homology of Gromov-Vaserstein fibres

Abstract
In the present work we prove that an important class of affine algebraic varieties, called Gromov-Vaserstein fibres, enjoys the (algebraic) volume density property. Also, we compute the homology groups of these varieties.
