The collective monograph summarizes the results of the latest scientific research on the Ostrog Bible of 1581. The sources of the first complete printed bible codex among the Eastern Slavs, the history and prehistory of its creation are investigated, the features of its existence and the nature of reception are considered, textual and linguistic parameters are highlighted, its place in the Slavic biblical tradition is determined. The publication is addressed to Biblical scholars, Palaeoslavists, specialists in Early Modern times and anyone interested in the history of Slavic literature and inter-Slavic cultural and linguistic ties.
