This is a French and German language policy brief, which introduces and outlines the results of the first work package of the EU HORIZON project UNTWIST for Swiss practitioners. The policy brief introduces a typology of gender-based needs derived through a meta-literature review of more than 400 academic articles. It then explains how the results matter to the Swiss context and provides policy recommendations of how policy makers and civil society advocates can use the typology to evaluate and improve their strategies to become more inclusive of a variety of gender-based needs.
