Introduction to the Kinneret Regional Project

e paper is an introduction to the archaeological eldwork of Kinneret Regional Project (KRP), currently under the auspices of the University of Bern (Switzerland), the University of Helsinki (Finland), Leiden University (the Netherlands) and Florida Atlantic University (USA). It will highlight past excavations, current projects, and future plans focusing on the cultural- historical exploration of the region on the southwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee (Israel). In addition, methodological and technological aspects will be treated.
