Blocking Frequency 1728-2020

Project description
Reconstruction of seasonal blocking frequency for Europe for 1728-2020 for Nov.-Apr. and May.-Oct. Blocking was calculated according to the Tibaldi-Molteni algorithm in ERA5 (https://doi.org/10.1029/2019GL085582). Reconstructions were calibrated grid-point-wise in a linear regression approach using the seasonal CAP9 weather type frequencies (Pfister, L. https://boris.unibe.ch/195666/) as predictors. Files are in netcdf Format.
