The Summer School, aimed at PhD candidates and early-career researchers, explores the potential of twentieth-century archives for a more nuanced understanding of Italian literary society. In addition to traditional authors’ archives, special attention will be devoted to “other sources”: the archives of scholars, journals, publishing houses, and cultural institutions.
The program includes keynote lectures, presentations of ongoing research, and round tables with specialists, with the aim of fostering dialogue and encouraging exchange on interdisciplinary methodological approaches.
The project is the result of an international collaboration between the Institute of Italian Language and Literature at the University of Bern, the Swiss Literary Archives (Swiss National Library), the University of Florence, and the Centro Studi Aldo Palazzeschi.
