The study included 9 pigs receiving increasing dosages of propofol as sole anaesthetic. The following data were continuosuly collected from the depth of anaesthesia monitor Sedline: PSI = patient state index (no unit) - processed electroencephalographic (EEG) variable related to the efect of anaesthetic agents; SR = suppression ratio (SR, in %) - a measure of the EEG activity suppression (isoelectric signal); SEF 95%_L and _R= left and right 95% spectral edge frequencies - a measure of the frequency below which 95% of the total EEG power is located; EMG: electromyographic activity (EMG, in %) - a measure of muscular activity contaminating the EEG signal; ARTIFACT(ARTF, in %) - a measure of physiological (not brain-related) and environmental noise contaminating the EEG signal.
